1891

The 1891-CC Morgan Silver Dollar is a desirable coin due to the popularity of the Carson City mintmark and its availability in Uncirculated grades. The 1891-CC Morgan is not in the common class even though more than one million pieces were minted. Choice specimens can be found in the higher Mint State grades. Most coins are lustrous and have superb eye appeal, yet not all are sharply struck. Strike varies from poor to sharp. Prooflike coins are not in high demand due to having low contrast in relation to design features. No proofs were produced because of the mint location.
